pdt is a questionnaire that prompts you to describe the situation you wish to investigate and the "problem" you intend to address in your research to help you formulate a hypothesis for your project.

At the end of the process you will be invited to save your answers to your hard drive because they are deleted automatically when you close your browser.  The tool is secure in that you are the only person who has access to your answers. SCLCR does not copy your answers and, once they are deleted, they are no longer available for viewing by anyone.

The resulting description should be regarded as a heuristic to aid you in describing the research problem you are addressing. It provides a starting point for the problem description and hypothesis you need to pursue your project.
